Merchandising Operations Coordinator

Through exclusive partnerships with iconic and high-growth consumer brands like Kellogg’s, Mars Wrigley Confectionery, Red Bull, Cargo puts everything you need on-the-go at your fingertips in car. Cargo’s fleet will grow 10X in 2018. To support our growing fleet and provide a frictionless in-car experience to passengers, Cargo developed a proprietary hardware, inventory management and software system all-in-one to eventually support hundreds of thousands of drivers in our network.

Cargo is looking to expand its Merchandising Operations team to help support 10x growth in 2018. You'll own the relationship and daily management of our warehousing and logistics operations, reporting directly to the Merchandising Operations Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own the relationship and be the primary point of contact for Cargo with our 3rd party logistics (3PL) providers and Cargo’s East coast and West coast warehousing partners

  • Lead daily inventory management workflow with Operations team and Cargo’s warehouses, including all administrative support for inbound order processing, distributor shipment tracking, product traceability, and inventory control

  • Manage all activities related to kit creation and outbound shipments to drivers, including special handling and on-the-floor training

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly inventory reconciliation and cycle counts

  • Proactively innovate tech solutions to mitigate discrepancies and accurately capture warehouse stock; monitor and find ways to continuously improve our warehouse operations

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in the logistics and warehousing space at high growth companies Comfortable working in multiple software platforms

  • Collaborative mindset that likes working in internal and external teams

  • Ability to give input and design logistics related software features a plus

  • A creative and analytical problem-solver with strong communication skills
